HDD Welding Teeth BR1 BR2 BR3 DT50
Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) machines are a type of drilling rig for the installation of pipes, cables, and conduits underground to avoid disturbing the ground above.
A back reamer, mounted on an HDD, is used to enlarge the pilot bore for accommodating pipes and cables. KoneCarbide offers Kennametal welding teeth & bits used on HDD back reamers for foundation drilling in the construction industry.
BR1: General-purpose design for use on all back reamers in all cutting conditions.
BR3: Designed for use on medium to large back reamers in hard cutting conditions.
DT50: For drilling in soft to hard rock and concrete. The Carbide tip is 1/2″ wide.
